TODAY: In the light of everything
In the light of day you think you see so clear, in the light of truth you think you bring yourself near, in the light of happiness you believe what you see, in the light of promises you can only hope it will be..... In the light of life we attempt to make our decisions, however, don't ever count on the light shining bright, count on yourself so that even the dark of anything you'll see the light of everything..... Don't be confused by words or promises of others, look within to find your truth and you will live in the light of everything.......
Have a beautiful day.....

TODAY: Reaching out for help
From time to time we all need to reach out to others for some sort of help..... Some may find this a very difficult thing to do, but I say "Do It"...... Life can be tough and strenuous and if we need a little support or help in reaching our goals, don't be afraid to ask for some..... I believe most people want to help and would not turn their back on you, most people are basically good..... If you are caught in a moment (or longer) of time that you are searching for answers and they're not coming, if your lost for an idea of what to do next, if you're afraid and just need someone to talk with, "Do It", turn to a family member, friend or even an acquaintance and ask for help..... It is far better than residing yourself to the unknown, it is far better than leaving yourself in the dark and afraid, it is far better than standing still and not moving forward, because you don't know where to go..... I promise there is someone out there that will try to help..... And remember, when you reach out, have your heart and mind open to receive what is being offered back, even if you don't use it..........
Have a beautiful day,

TODAY: an affirmation
Just for today, I will not let things get to me, I will rise above the chatter, I will not engage in gossip, as a matter of fact if someone wishes to gossip about someone else to me, I will stand up for that person...just for today, I will be a positive energy, I will be the shining light at the end of a tunnel, I will be the shoulder to lean on for those that are in need.... just for today, I will show love and caring for all and I will not be afraid to do so.... just for today, since we can only live one day at a time....

TODAY: just a thought
I've no doubt that every person on this planet at one time or another will have moments that they just want to give up....things are too difficult, finances are too strained, the relationship is just not where they want it to be........in all of these instances and million more like them, typically the only problem the person is having is they're just plain tired......can't think.....can't form ideas or solutions.......... So instead of quitting, get some rest......do a meditation.......take a long walk......listen to your favorite uplifting music.....just don't make any rash decisions......As a matter of fact, try not to make any decisions while angry.....and don't do something you might regret later.....save the moment for action for when you have more clarity.....and definitely don't speak out, unless and until you are ready to live with the words you'll be speaking... Difficult times are a part of life, teach yourself to go into "auto mode" where you do only the things that help you to be the person you truly want to be. Leave all the decisions for the heavy, not needed at this very moment time, for later, when you are rested and feeling better.....Remember to strive to live without regret and if you find yourself having regret, have your moment, then "let it go"....nothing lasts forever and the only way you can get over something is to get over it...
Have a beautiful day...

TODAY: mind, body, soul and Personal Environment
We have all heard about taking care of our mind, body and souls, however, has anyone spoken with you about taking care of your "personal environment"?.... that is as important as the other three, maybe even more. Your personal environment is the area surrounding the outside of your body..... you walk around in it all day, you take it to work with you, to bed with you, into the shower, out to eat.....this area, your personal environment, is subjected to infiltrations, good and difficult, all the time, so it is very important that you pay attention to it and take care of it..... make sure not to allow things of discomfort to dwell to long or things that put you off balance to linger, keep out of your personal environment things that make you act in ways you would not normally act... this area should be purged of negative energies, infused with positive energies and looked after on a regular basis....... our personal environment should be enhanced by sounds and smells and feelings of happiness, it is the cloak of energy that can protect our mind, body and souls, making it very important to us and our general wellbeing....... Love your Personal Environment and you will in turn be loving life........

TODAY: If I could make one wish come true
If I could make one wish come true, it would be that no person on this earth ever felt the need to hurt another human being or animal. I can't imagine the anguish that must go on inside someone's head that could do something like that.....I send all people positive thoughts and energies, but I'd especially like to send out thoughts of positive energy to all those that are compelled by something, I really don't understand, something that makes them physically want to strike out in anger.... to you, I wish, happiness, compassion and the wisdom to understand that when you intentionally go to hurt someone or a helpless animal, you are, seriously, just hurting yourself.... let go of anger and frustration, be a positive force in this world, the return will be much more fulfilling than you can imagine....
Have a beautiful night....

Tis the Dawn of a New Year ©
By: g.g.evans
Tis the dawn of a New Year, all potential is here
Dream dreams of abundance, health and much cheer
Let go of the past year and know that it’s gone
Sing songs of celebration for every new dawn
With light and happiness to help guide you thru
No doubt of its goodness, its all here for you
Each new breath you take is the only one that matters
Live for the moment, abundance and laughter
Life is a moment, you can fill with a dream
Never letting the past hold you down is what I mean
Let go of the yesterdays be they good, bad or fair
They are gone now forever, that’s all you should care
The sun of this new day can shine bright on your life
The moon of this new night will make dark into light
Each breath that you’re graced with is your special gift
To strengthen your insides and give you that lift
The crispness of winter is long in the air
Cherish each moment with thoughtfulness and care
Live for today and hope for tomorrow
Nothing lasts forever, not sadness, not sorrow
You can do this, I know you can, make each second matter
Leave the past in the past, let no dust be gathered
You see the weight of the world need not rest on your shoulder
Each dawn is a new day, each new breath makes you bolder
When you go to bed tonight, thank this world for its splendor
When you wake in the morning, know you’re given a treasure
Of new hope, new beginnings, new
dreams to make real
In this dawn of a new day, know it’s your time to heal
Tis the dawn of a new year, its your time to shine
Be bold and dream big dreams of life in a rhyme
Remember to help others less fortunate than you
Happy New Year to all, much love to you too

TODAY: Have a beautiful Happy Thanksgiving and be careful
I want to wish everyone a awesome Thanksgiving...
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be careful, it is a crazy time of the year, people rushing around trying to get things done, wondering if they will have enough money to pay for and get all the things they need and want...Today, out in front of my little boutique a car pulled out in front of a U-Haul and got T-boned, the driver died and the passengers' body was crushed, it affected me so much....you know the poor kids driving the U-Haul (even though it wasn't their fault) will live with this the rest of their life and the people in the car (the one who survived) their life will never, ever be the same... There is nothing, so important, in this world worth rushing around for or that should keep us in a fearful, angry, sad or "what am I going to do" place. The fact of the matter is every last second is gone, so try not to carry the woes and worries of the past with you, those kind of thoughts weigh heavy in our hearts and minds and can be the one thing that diverts our attention from what we are doing at the moment, giving rise to a potential accident. Remember, with every new breath there is new hope and opportunity to turn things around or make changes.... Each one of us, if we try, can make this world just a tiny bit better by keeping our spirits up and knowing that nothing lasts forever. Slow down, keep calm, be bright in your thoughts, actions and words, it does make a difference. And maybe, just maybe, because you decide to do this, you will be the reason for someone else having a difficult time, to do it too.
I wish you all a safe and happy Thanksgiving...

GINA GINA
Today: Our "VERY IMPORTANT" Skin
Did you know the largest organ of our body is our "Skin". It protects us against pathogens, regulates our body and protects our inner organs. Our skin is waterproof, so essential nutrients are not washed out and is a natural pathway for Vitamin D to get into our bodies. It detoxifies the body thru perspiration and protects us against viruses and bacterias entering in. Our skin has been called "the third kidney" because it is so important to eliminating waste and toxins from our bodies.
Skin is a "living organism"... so we need to nourish it. One square inch of human skin consists of something like 19,500,000 cells, 60,000 melanocytes (pigment), 90 oil glands, 19 feet of blood vessels, 650 sweat glands, more than 1,000 nerve endings and19,000 sensory cells(*). Our skin is a magnificent organ that needs to be attended to. So now maybe you'll agree that it is NOT superficial to care so much about what our skin looks like. Treat your skin good, use ingredients like "all natural botanicals" and if scented, make sure it is scented with pure essential oils. Read labels and choose good products that will address the real health of you and your skin.
From the beginning of the day, to the end of the evening, incorporate skin products that will nourish your skin on a cellular level. Make sure the products you choose are skin-permeable and can deliver its nutrients deep into the dermis (not all products do!!!). Make sure the products you choose will help you achieve the best results. The absorption rate of any product you use depends on the "molecule size" and its "solubility" (know your product or buy from reputable mixologists or aromatherapists....)
Dry Brushing your skin is a great way to detoxify (daily). Dry Brushing (DB), also, helps clean out the lymph system (considered part of our immune system, detoxification occurs first through the lymph, we have more lymph than we do blood). DB helps us to shed dead skin cells, improving skin texture and cell renewal. It strengthens the immune system by stimulating the lymph vessels to drain toxins. DB tightens skin by increasing blood flow, tones muscles by stimulating nerve endings, causing muscle fibers to activate and move. It helps stimulate circulation by allowing our skin to breath (ridding it of dead skin cells).
Our Skin needs to be cleansed, balanced and given lots of nutrition, daily........... don't skimp on the products you put onto your skin. Remember, our skin is the "last" to receive the nutrients we ingest, however, it is the "first" to show an imbalance or deficiency.
In close, healthy skin will contribute to your overall body health, so treat it good:)

TODAY - "just for today"
Just for today, I will be a spark of hope for those in need, I will put aside any and all energies about myself and live for the betterment of the world, just for today, I will silence my mind in memory of all those taken from this world, every breath I breathe out will be focused with love and compassion for all, just for today, I won't think of myself, I will think of all others and wish only peace and happiness, just for today, since we can only live one day at a time...

TODAY: "I Am Just Human
I am just human, I will have many failures and successes in my life time, there will be times of triumph and tragedy, happiness and sorrow... I am just human, I will make correct and wrong decisions in my life time, there will be times of celebration and times of grieving, times where I feel like I'm moving forward and times I feel like I'm just standing still... I am just human, I will do things right and sometimes wrong, I will stand strong and other times will need the shoulder of a friend to help hold me up... I am just human, I will try to project life in a positive way, but if I am under the weather and can't find the strength, because I am human, I will allow the universe to step in and do this for me. Leaning on the universe or the kindness of another human being does not make me weak, it just means "I am human"...

Just for today, I will learn something new and different, I will allow the entire day and all that it delivers to be an opportunity for gain, I will put my best foot forward and try not to trip over the other foot, I will be light and keep humor abundant, just for today, since we can only live one day at a time.

TODAY: just for today
Just for today, I will let go of all the baggage I might be carrying, I will allow the universe and all it's powers to absorb it, I will feel light and free of heavy thoughts and negative energies, I will have strength and endurance, power and confidence to go after my wildest dreams or be satisfied with just sitting still, I will find peace in the absence of doubt, I will feel love in the absence of pain. Just for today, since we can only live one day at a time

Health & Wellness "Body Alkaline"
GINA GINA Tuesday, and beautiful
TODAY: Sole (So-lay), Ole! one way to help alkaline the body
It is very important to keep our bodies alkaline. We live in a highly acidic world, from the foods we eat, to the stress we put ourselves under, constantly. To alkaline the body, is to promote good health from the inside out. Since I had breast cancer and knowing cancer loves an acidic host, I have strived to keep my body alkaline. One way I do this is to have my teaspoon-a-day of SOLE:
What is Sole:
Sole is a mixture of water and crystal salt (I use Himalayan Salt and Spring Water or a good Artesian Water. Himalayan Crystal Salt is the purest salt on Earth, it is over 250 million years old and is uncontaminated, without any toxins or pollutants. Himalayan salt is typically hand mined, rinsed with water and sun dried).
The Salt Misunderstanding:
All Natural Unrefined Salt is not bad for us. As a matter of fact, we cannot live without salt. The human body consists of primarily 2 elements......water and salt...... HOWEVER, regular table salt is a problem, it has been fired at 12-1500 degrees, chemically cleaned and processed, and left without the trace minerals and elements that naturally occur in UNREFINED salt, leaving us with an inorganic salt, that our bodies do not digest, it is like poison to our bodies.
Unrefined salt (like Himalayan Salt) is unprocessed and is just like the sodium that occurs naturally in the body, with 84 natural trace elements and minerals (they are: actinium, aluminum, antimony, arsenic, astatine, barium, beryllium, bismuth, boron, bromine, cadmium, calcium, carbon, cerium, cesium, chlorine, chromium, cobalt, copper, dysprosium, erbium, europium, fluorine, francium, gadolinium, gallium, germanium, gold, hafnium, holmium, hydrogen, indium, iodine, iridium, iron, lanthanum, lead, lithium, lutetium, magnesium, manganese, mercury, molybdenum, neodymium, neptunium, nickel, niobium, nitrogen, osmium, oxygen, palladium, phosphorus, platinum, plutonium, polonium, potassium, praseodymium, protactinium, radium, rhenium, rhodium, rubidium, ruthenium, samarium, scandium, selenium, silicon, silver, sodium, strontium, sulfur, tantalum, tellurium, terbium, thallium, thorium, thulium, tin, titanium, uranium, vanadium, wolfram, yttrium, ytterbium, zinc and zirconium.)....... it is essential to our daily lives and definitely not bad for us.
The benefits of Sole:
Sole is wonderful, I take it everyday. It helps to balance the body's pH and get rid of heavy metals. It is rich in vital minerals, improves digestion and cleans your intestines. Sole has a calming effect on the entire nervous system and can improve your quality of sleep, it helps in the extraction of excess acidity from the cells in the body, particularly the brain cells. It has Chromium, Zinc and Iodine, which will help to give you a more beautiful, clear skin and help heal skin disease by cleaning from the inside out.. It will help normalize the blood pressure and balance your blood sugar levels. Sole acts as a natural antihistamine, clearing up congestion in your sinuses and can aid in weight loss, too. It can prevent muscle cramps, varicose veins and is vital for maintaining your libido.
So in close:
Understand your body and the importance of keeping it alkaline. Adding a teaspoon of Sole first thing in the morning, before you eat or drink anything, can help alkaline you and keep you healthy and disease free.
To Make Himalayan Salt Sole:
In a glass jar (with NO metal rim or lid, metal de-ionizes the salt) place Himalayan Salt (chunks or grain) and fill with a good spring water. Let sit for 24 hours (to insure optimal saturation level, there should always be salt in the bottom of the jar, if it is all dissolved, add more salt). Your Sole is now ready....... take one (1) teaspoon on an empty stomach, daily (mix with water, if you need to and drink), you will soon notice the beneficial changes.**
Have a wonderful evening........ remember the thoughts we think and the words we speak, are the energies we live in......... have only good thoughts and speak only kind words.

Health and Wellness - GINA GINA
TODAY: a positive thought
Everyday we wake up we are given the emotional opportunity to start fresh. Make sure to take time daily to meditate, remember how beautiful and precious life truly is. Be grateful for the new day and night, be excited at the prospect that today is the beginning of the rest of your life, make with that, all you can. The only obstacle that stands between you and true happiness are the obstacles you allow to be in your way. Have a "can do" attitude and back it up with "can do" thoughts. Remove any negative thoughts or energy from your body, they only serve to hold you back and down. Live every moment of life as if it were (and it is) a gift to treasure. The only way to lengthen time is to make sure you use it thoughtfully and with purpose, use it thoughtfully and with purpose and you will have no wasted time.
Have a beautiful day and remember you can make it what ever you want it to be…..

Pet Missing... Las Vegas Nevada
TODAY: one of my cats has gone missing
About 7 years back a neighbor up the street moved away and left his and his daughters cats behind....at the time Las Vegas was in a terrible place, foreclosures were abundant and it was raining foreclosure pets....so sad.....anyway, we adopted his two adorable cats, got them neutered and micro chipped.... neither one of them were having anything to do with staying in doors, both of them were used to walking around the cul-de-sac up the street from us where they used to live, the neighbors that have been around for awhile and even most of the new ones, know who they are and have been nice to them and most of them know that they are my kids, now........ I didn't like them being outdoor pets, it truly bothered me, but, at the time, I wasn't wanting to traumatize them anymore than they already were.....so I set up patio tents in the front and back, both tents had a bunny hutch under it, with 20degree sleeping bags in winter and sheets in summer, both have a beautiful set up of outdoor furniture, cat food and water feeders and liter.....we did the best we could......everything had been going great... for 7 years going great... and then on September 20th, 2014 one of them went missing....it was not unusual for him not to come home for a 24 hour period, even 48 hours from time to time, but by day 3 I was in a panic..... I contacted the animal shelters to make sure he wasn't picked up hurt or killed, I went to the animal shelters to make sure he wasn't there....but no luck......every night since, I walk the neighborhood calling his name "Dobi.........Dobi", but nothing...... now Tigger (the other one, that doesn't really leave our home to much) is showing signs of depression and missing Dobi, too.... he now is leaving the house, regularly, I think to go look for Dobi, I don't know what to do.............It's been 2 weeks, tomorrow, since Dobi went missing, and I have to say, I'm just devastated....I think someone has stollen him and is keeping him locked up inside..........I am doing my best not to get angry, I know that brings nothing good......right now, all I can do is pray that who ever has him is being good to him and when Dobi is ready to leave, I pray they let him go, so he can make his way back home to us.......I know that putting out positive energies and good thoughts are a much better way to deal with the sadness of him being gone, it also gives me a since of "more hope" that he will find his way home soon......If I could redo 7 years ago, I would have worked harder to train my new kids (cats) to stay inside.........I won't make that mistake again......
In close: Typically, in life, there are "no redos", so try you best to get it right the first time, that way you can know "you did your best" and there will be no regret
Have a beautiful weekend

In close: Typically, in life, there are "no redos", so try you best to get it right the first time, that way you can know "you did your best" and there will be no regret
Have a beautiful weekend

Wellness & Health - GINA GINA
TODAY: The lymph system and cleansing it
I have had breast cancer and my husband has had colon cancer... I had no lymph nodes with cancer, he had 1 of 27 lymph nodes come back with cancer....we both believed to help insure us not being in this situation again, we needed to strengthen our lymph system, get it moving and cleanse and detoxify our bodies, we also believe that strengthening the lymph system was a great way to help prevent many diseases, and would also strengthen our immune systems, to help protect from the return of cancer.....
In researching for this blog, I read many articles regarding strengthening the lymphatic system.....and then I stumbled upon and read this article by Michelle Schoffro Cook , and to be honest, I could not have put it in better words, so I didn't.....hope you get as much out of this read, as I did....
a big thank you to: care2.com/greenliving and their online information about boosting your lymph system...

11 Ways to Boost Your Lymphatic System for Great Health
6. Eat plenty of green vegetables to get adequate chlorophyll to help purify your blood and lymph.
7. Eat raw, unsalted nuts and seeds to power up your lymph with adequate fatty acids. Choose from walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, macadamias, Brazil nuts, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.
Again, thank you Michelle Schoffro Cook for the great information,

11 Ways to Boost Your Lymphatic System for Great Health
- a Care2 favorite by Michelle Schoffro Cook
The Fat Flush Plan author Ann Louise Gittleman, PhD, estimates that 80 percent of women have sluggish lymphatic systems and that getting them flowing smoothly is the key to easy weight loss and improved feelings of well-being.
If you are suffering from injuries, excess weight or cellulite, or pain disorders like arthritis, bursitis, headaches or others, a sluggish lymphatic system may be playing a role. Here are 11 ways you can get your lymph flowing smoothly.
1. Breathe deeply. Our bodies have three times more lymph fluid than blood, yet no organ to pump it. Your lymph system relies on the pumping action of deep breathing to help it transport toxins into the blood before they are detoxified by your liver. So breathe in that sweet smell of healing oxygen. Breathe out toxins.
2. Get moving. Exercise also ensures the lymph system flows properly. The best kind is rebounding on a mini trampoline, which can dramatically improve lymph flow, but stretching and aerobic exercise also work well.
3. Drink plenty of water. Without adequate water, lymph fluid cannot flow properly. To help ensure the water is readily absorbed by your cells, I frequently add some fresh lemon juice or oxygen or pH drops.
4. Forget the soda, trash the neon-colored sports drinks, and drop the fruit “juices” that are more sugar than fruit. These sugar-, color- and preservative-laden beverages add to the already overburdened workload your lymph system must handle.
5. Eat more raw fruit on an empty stomach. The enzymes and acids in fruit are powerful lymph cleansers. Eat them on an empty stomach for best digestion and maximum lymph-cleansing benefits. Most fruits are digested within 30 minutes or so and quickly help you feel better.
7. Eat raw, unsalted nuts and seeds to power up your lymph with adequate fatty acids. Choose from walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, macadamias, Brazil nuts, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.
8. Add a few lymph-boosting herbal teas to your day, such as astragalus, echinacea, goldenseal, pokeroot or wild indigo root tea. Consult an herbalist or natural medicine specialist before combining two or more herbs or if you’re taking any medications or suffer from any serious health conditions. Avoid using herbs while pregnant or lactating and avoid long-term use of any herb without first consulting a qualified professional.
9. Dry skin brush before showering. Use a natural bristle brush. Brush your dry skin in circular motions upward from the feet to the torso and from the fingers to the chest. You want to work in the same direction as your lymph flows—toward the heart.
10. Alternate hot and cold showers for several minutes. The heat dilates the blood vessels and the cold causes them to contract. Avoid this type of therapy if you have a heart or blood pressure condition or if you are pregnant.
11. Get a gentle massage. Studies show that a gentle massage can push up to 78 percent of stagnant lymph back into circulation. Massage frees trapped toxins. You can also try a lymph drainage massage. It is a special form of massage that specifically targets lymph flow in the body. Whatever type of massage you choose, make sure it is gentle. Too much pressure may feel good on the muscles, but it doesn’t have the same lymph-stimulating effects.
There are countless benefits of getting your lymphatic system moving more efficiently, including more energy, less pain, and improved detoxification. Adapted from Weekend Wonder Detox by Michelle Schoffro Cook.

WELLNESS and You
Today: Our "VERY IMPORTANT" Skin
Did you know the largest organ of our body is our "Skin". It protects us against pathogens, regulates our body temperature between hot and cold, protects our inner organs. Our skin is waterproof, so essential nutrients are not washed out, and is a natural pathway for Vitamin D, it detoxifies the body thru perspiration and protects against viruses and bacterias. Our skin has been called "the third kidney" because it is so important to eliminating waste and toxins from our bodies.
Skin is a "living organism"........so we need to nourish it. One square inch of human skin consists of 19,500,000 cells, 60,000 melanocytes (pigment), 90 oil glands, 19 feet of blood vessels, 650 sweat glands, more than 1,000 nerve endings and19,000 sensory cells(*).
The absorption rate of any product you use depends on the "molecule size" and its "solubility" (know your product, or, buy from reputable mixologists or aromatherapists....I carry in my boutique "Madlyn Rose" and "Malie" they're awesome)
Dry Brushing your skin is a great way to detoxify (daily). Dry Brushing (DB) helps clean out the lymph system (considered part of our immune system, detoxification occurs first through the lymph, we have more lymph than we do blood).
Our Skin needs to be cleaned, balanced and given lots of nutrition, daily........... don't skimp on the products you put onto your skin. Remember, our skin is the "last" to receive the nutrients we ingest, however, it is the "first" to show an imbalance or deficiency.
In close, healthy skin will contribute to your overall body health, so treat it good:)
